BLACKPINK star, Lisa who made a record-breaking solo debut with her two-track album 'Lalisa', hit an all new high this week. According to reports, the singer is now the first South Korean pop star to climb to the top of Billboard rap charts.

According to Forbes, Lisa, of Thai descent, dethroned Canadian rapper Drake’s single 'Way 2 Sexy' with her new single 'Money'. Drake took the top spot for the track (featuring Young Thug and Future) on his new album 'Certified Lover Boy', but according to the latest reports, Lisa sold an impressive 6,900 copies, over a thousand more than Drake, thus pushing her to the top spot.

Lisa, who is a member of the girl group BLACKPINK, broke several records with her hit single 'Lalisa'. Her solo album was ranked No. 1 in 60 different countries when it was released, and she even beat out the likes of Taylor Swift to crack a new YouTube record. The star reportedly beat swift to have the most views for a music video in 24 hours.

She even joined BLACKPINK, BTS and PSY as the only K-Pop artists in history to have a music video surpass 12 million likes on YouTube.
