Who is stronger (one-on-one), Spider-Man or Captain America?
One on one fights or you mean Spiderman vs. Captain America?
Well in the case of Spiderman vs. Captain America, Spiderman wins. Many consider Spiderman possibly cosmic level. All I know is Spiderman is definitely above Captain America in most ways.
Spiderman’s Spider Sense gives him a massive edge which can be a big detriment to Captain America’s high fighting skill. No matter how good your fighting skill is, a heightened sense to dodge almost everything sort of puts a stall on it especially if we’re saying Cap is using only his signature equipment-the shield and his body. Cap’s shield might not even be much use against the combination of Spiderman’s spider sense and his knowledge of using geometry in his attacks. He can combine webs instantly and ensnare Cap into one no problem. The only chance Cap might have is if he can strike Spidey’s pressure points but that would be hard due to how well Spiderman can avoid danger and doesn’t “stick” around get it, I did a pun? Most of the time Spiderman fights against foes that has some kind of ability similar to his Spider sense like Carnage, Doc Ock, and Venom and he still comes up top.
Cap can throw his shield but Spiderman can shoot webs. I would say Spiderman overrules Cap in one-on-one and can probably take on multiple potentially significant fighters as well. In a projectile fight Spiderman just has more versatility, can arrange for increasing deadliness and has more range in his attacks.
Spiderman’s intelligence is considered genius/super level. Cap’s is also considered genius level but I believe they have different kinds of intelligence. Cap’s intelligence is more on tactics, while Spiderman has more street kind of knowledge along with high level academics. Cap isn’t as book smart as Spiderman. Cap can straight up brawl and improvise in any given situation, Spiderman can do that just the same but Spiderman can take that to a whole new level and devise strategies that involve using the environment or science that can prove to be far more effective.
Then we get down to strength which I would be obviously in Spiderman’s favor. Spiderman’s strength reaches 60–70 tons, he even held a collapsing building once. Spiderman without a doubt would overpower Cap in terms of strength no doubt. When Spiderman gets serious he doesn’t fuck around. He is usually holding back his strength.
The win goes to Spiderman. More versatility, better range, superior strength, Spider Sense, better crowd control, more versatile science/tactics intelligence.
